George Graham
George is a specialist in the policy and practice of humanitarian aid. He has managed disaster preparedness and emergency response programmes in Africa and Asia and has worked extensively with policy-makers in the UK, seeking ways to make the humanitarian aid system more effective and accountable. He is currently based in London where he is working on issues around quality and innovation in the aid sector.

George has been involved in community campaigns in south London on and off since 2003. He is particularly interested in increasing community-level engagement and democracy, supporting sustainable local economies and services and promoting living streets.

He has a Masters degree in Violence, Conflict and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a BA in English from the University of Oxford.
