Lucy
Lucy Ford is Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Oxford Brookes University. She gained a first degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent at Canterbury and went on to do an MA and DPhil in International Relations at Sussex University. Lucy's doctoral research examined the global political economy of environmental governance and resistance. Her current research continues to examine the global political economy of sustainabilty and social justice. She has published on the potential for transnational actors, both civil society organisations and social movements, to challenge the power structure of the post-globalisation economic system. Lucy is a member of the advisory panel for the EU-funded four year research project CONVERGE, which aims to rethink globalisation in the light of contraction and convergence. Lucy is also a Research Fellow with the Schumacher Institute. |
